Buells Head Back to Congo

Ed and Brenda plan to leave for Congo somewhere around the 15^th of January 2011, Lord willing. After extending their time in the USA for several months to do more fund raising, they feel God tugging on their hearts to get back to Congo so they can continue their ministry full time. The plans are to travel to Nairobi, Kenya where they will get the used Nissan Patrol they purchased, make a few repairs and then drive it back to Congo to arrive by February 1^st. We have now purchased tickets for January 25th.

There are a couple of immediate things which need your prayer. A final payment on the truck is due at the end of this month, December 2010. The payment is $6000. There is $5250 on hand leaving a balance of $750. They are obligated to this and need to get it sent off ASAP. Please keep it as a matter of prayer. In addition, they need to make a couple of minor repairs to the truck and then drive it from Kenya to Congo. That is estimated at $3000. Only $1250 of this remaining.  Praise God and thanks to all who have helped out.

The second need is for travel expenses in January. The tickets are estimated at $1696 each. They also have to get visas which cost $461.50 each. They are good for 6 months. Once in the country they will begin working on 5 year visas, but those take a while to complete. All this has been covered by your generous gifts.

So, if you or your church might have any extra funds at the end of the year to share, it would be a great blessing if you would consider these needs.
